Little Learning Centre is an educational based site aimed at three and four year olds. I plan to cover a range of different topics, weave basic learning concepts throughout and create a fun and stimulating environment online for your children. Due to the crazy covid-19, it has left the future looking uncertain for schools, nurseries and other childcare facilities for the next few weeks and months. I decided to create this site to give children a safe space to continue to learn and grow despite the circumstances that we are facing.
I am the Room Leader at a local nursery, running the playgroup and preschool rooms with children ranging from 2 years and 10 months to 4 years old. I have been a childcare professional for the past seven years and have been running these rooms for the past four years. I have created a curriculum with plans and topics with stories, songs and activities age appropriate for 2 years and 10 months onward. I love kids and have such a passionate for furthering their development and making education fun and interactive.
I aim to promote gross motor development, fine manipulative skills, colour recognition, animal and nature knowledge, shape and number recognition as well as gaining information on a wide range of topics.
This is why I have started this and why this is the time to do so.
